Special Risk Insurance Services, Inc. was founded in March 1985 by Dennis Kruhm and Anthony Liberatore. Dennis Kruhm, President of SRIS since its founding, previously had extensive experience with the brokerage firms of Crump Special Risk and Rollins, Burdick and Hunter, as well as the insurance companies of American International Group (AIG) and the Home Insurance Company. Having once been an underwriter, Dennis's firsthand knowledge and broad experience within the insurance industry has proven to be an invaluable asset when negotiating with underwriting insurers on behalf of our clients.
Anthony Liberatore, Senior Vice President of SRIS and company officer since its founding, had experience with the brokerage firms of Crump Special Risk and Rollins, Burdick and Hunter. As a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania Wharton School, he earned a B.S. in Economics with an Insurance Major. Tony is a licensed insurance broker and member of PEBA (PenJerDel Employee Benefits Association).
